Chirakin Tablet: Chirakin Tablet is an Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Zandu Pharmaceuticals, Serves as an anti-malarial drug.
Chirakin contains some prime ingredients to treat malaria:
Kiratikta (Swertia Chirata) 100 mg: A famous bitter astringent ayurvedic herb used in skin disease and intestinal worm infestations.
Saptaparna (Alstonia Scholaris) 100 mg: Known for its health benefits, It is named after its leaf arrangement in a bunch of 7 whorls.
Kutki (Picrorrhiza Kurroa) 100 mg: A potent herb with various therapeutic properties.
Latakaranja (Caesalpinia Crista) 200 mg: Widely used in treating malaria and fever; it becomes hot when rubbed on a rough surface.
Chirakin is contraindicated in the first trimester of pregnancy
Dosage: Adult: to be taken 2 tablets thrice a day for 3 to 7 days, Children: Take 1 tablet thrice a day for 3 to 7 days. As a prophylactic can be recommended in adults 1 tablet twice a day or in children 1/2 (half) tablet twice a day for 7 days. There are no recorded side effects, but it’s essential to use it strictly as advised.
