Vasantakusumakararasam Capsule: contains -Hataka bhasma (gold), Rajatabhasma (Silver), Vangabhasma (Tin), Ahibhasma (Lead), Kantakabhasma (Iron), Suta (Mercury), Abhrabhasma (Mica), Pravalabhasma (Coral), Mauktikabhasma (Pearl), gavyadugdha (Cow's milk), Ikshu Saccharum (officinarum), Vasa (Justicia adhatoda), Laksha (Laccifer lacca), Udichya (Plectranthus vettiveroides), Rambhakanda (Musa paradisiaca), Satapatrika (Rosa centifolia), Malati (Jasminum grandiflorum), Kankolam (Piper cubeba), Kunkuma (Crocus sativus).
Vasantakusumakararasam Capsule: It possesses several properties like a sheet (cold potency), Raktaprasadak (Purification of blood), Hridya (Promotes heart Health), Pitta Shamaka (Pacifies Pitta), Dhatuvardhak (Nourishes Body Tissue), Balsa (Promotes strength). It acts as a hypoglycemic, insulin modulator, and balances the body's hormones. It is a strength enhancer, Ojovardhaka and Rasayana (improves and promotes immunity, rejuvenator, enhances the quality of life), and rejuvenator, It is also used in the treatment of diseases related to the urinary tract, memory loss, and general weakness.
Is useful for Diabetes (Madhumeha/Prameh-Pramehgana), Vasant Kusumakar Ras treatment did not significantly reduce the fasting blood glucose levels and HbA1c. Vasant Kusumakar Ras does not act on the pancreas to stimulate insulin release, nor does it act as an insulin sensitizer to increase peripheral glucose utilisation. However, it helps in correcting the metabolic imbalance caused due to Diabetes Mellitus.
